A Bit About Our History

 

In 1976 Donald R. Dobbins started a rebar installation company called Eastern Steel Erectors.  The company moved to Columbus, GA in 1978.  The business grew and Don's wife, Carole, joined the team.  On May 7, 1986, the company was incorporated under the new name, Composite Construction Systems, Inc.  With the new name came a new specialization: structural steel erection.   Through our partnerships, investments and our desire to maintain a leading edge in our industry we added Light Gauge installation to our portfolio.  Sadly, Donald passed away in 2007, but CCSI continues as a Woman Owned Minority Business stronger than ever. 

 

Throughout the more than 35 years in business, CCSI has continued to improve the effectiveness of management, our skilled workforce and accident prevention programs.  Today, CCSI centers around intense employee safety training, continued management development and superior customer service.
